korean thrillers
i'm beinging to enjoy more of Korean thrillers in comparison to Japanese and HK thrillers. what's the difference u might ask? well, even thou i get half as scares (yes, the japanese scares really stay in ur head. The Ring is too much of classic, that almost all post-Ring movies more or less showed some influence!), at least i won't say "stupid" after the show.
i just noticed they like to set all about the same pace. since Asaciel liked Tale of 2 sisters, i reckoned she'll like the other korean thrillers. there are scares (ghosts or gruesome killing) here and there, most of the time it's more the quiet moments that really freak out the audience (it's definitely not for my bro, he fell asleep). and at the end of the show, u would go "oh! so that's what happened!"
recently on TV i watched H and Into the Mirror. well thou reviews say these aren't the best of Korean thrillers, hey i quite enjoyed them. Well, to be honest they do not have the most original scares, but at least their plot and script are pretty well laid out and the atmosphere is set right (always very subtle sadness that isn't too heavy). I keep reading about the 1999 korean thriller "Tell Me Something", seems like it's one of the best. anyone seen it or has it?

Its not exactly all thrillers all the time. Its mystery story in the background, makes you wonder...and in the end, the director didn't close the whole thing with a haunting scare to continue back home. It normally ends with sorrow. Oh...and this reminds me of Ayumi's Endless Sorrow song..*LOL*
Ya, I like Tale of the 2 sisters, seen Into the mirror, I like the scene which the other sister in her room of mirrors. Hope to see more K-thrillers.
Hey, i got that sms too...you girl mass produce sms messages XD Hahah...ya, but i agree...all ghost long hair and crawl about...making those cheap door creaking sounds.
sometimes really dat bored til i sms 2-3 ppl mah.
